Technology Power Engineer

Job responsibilities:
Working closely with the Project Manager, Works Manager on:
- Supervision of the technology sector in projects on behalf of the Main Contractor
- Selection and/or analysis of equipment for systems of newly designed facilities related to power and heat generation (mainly gas engines, gas turbines), including pipelines with fittings, exchangers, pumps, fans, tanks, compressors, HVAC equipment, etc.
- Liaising with the interdisciplinary dresign team.
- Supervision of documentation in the area of technology and plant engineering, particularly in designs for the construction of new plants based on energy generation sources such as gas engines, boilers and turbines,
- Participation in the creation of project documentation at all stages of project implementation: concept, feasibility study, technical and detailed design phases.
- Analysis of technical solutions and formal conditions for the planned projects in the following sectors: district heating, plumbing, gas, HVAC.
- Analysing and opining execution design.
- Coordination and/or supervision of assigned projects (or parts thereof) in the technology and installation sectors.
- Participation in briefings and meetings also as a team leader.
Our requirements:
- Technical knowledge of the operation of systems associated with the generation of heat and power, particularly based on cogeneration systems using gas engines and gas turbines.
- University degree in engineering, preferably in the area related to the energy and environmental protection industry
- Professional experience in a similar position for a minimum of 3 years
- Experience as a Construction Engineer / Works Manager or Designer in a design office is welcome.
- A building licence to design in the specialisation of installation in the field of heating, ventilation, gas, water and sewage networks, without limitations, will be an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCad and familiarity with other design support software.
- Communication skills, self-reliance, multi-tasking, open-mindedness, high initiative to take on new topics, ability to work under time pressure.
