Construction works for a 2x2.27 MW cogeneration plant
- Comprehensive construction and erection works for the installation and connection to the supply utilities of two 2x 2.7 MW cogeneration units,
- Evacuation of heat from the cogeneration units and supply of gas to the units,
- Construction of 2.5 km of low and medium pressure gas, central heating, and water and sewage pipelines
- Power take-off from cogeneration units and MV cable lines (2.7 km), construction of MV and LV switchgears,
- Start-up and commissioning
- The project has a favourable environmental effect. Through the implementation of the project Tauron Dystrybucja will gain the possibility to use the methane produced in the mine for the purposes of producing energy in cogeneration: electricity and heat
- As part of the project, at least 5 jackings are planned for the gas and electricity lines - including one 500 m long under the railway tracks
- As the new power generation source is included in the power capacity market from 2021, the entire project must be completed by December 2020.
