- development of a conceptual design for the refurbishment of a coal-fired CHP plant in Brzeg in two variants
- Option 1B - construction of a new waste-heat boiler together with a new 4.4 MW gas turbine. Steam production capacity of 30.9 t/h, estimated natural gas supply with an average steam demand of 2,110 Nm3/h, 100% electricity demand coverage with the possibility of selling excess electricity production back to the grid.
- Option 3 - construction of a new low-pressure steam boiler with slightly superheated process steam. Steam production 31.5 t/h, estimated gas supply with an average steam demand of 1,493 Nm3/h, no electricity production.
- Development of a financial analysis of the return on investment for each option
- Development of pre-engineering for the selected concept including estimation of investment costs
