At the end of May 2022, OX2 executed a contract with Opole-based Elemont S.A. for the design and construction of the eBoP part of a wind farm consisting of 11 turbines with a capacity of 5.5-5.7 MW in the Wysoka area.
Elemont is the main contractor for the eBoP package under the design and build formula.
The scope of the eBoP package includes the construction of 19 km of 110 kV HV cable lines, between the Enea GPZ and the GPO, the construction of the GPO substation with full equipment including HV equipment, 110/33 kV 70 MVA transformer, substation building, MV switchgear with complete auxiliary systems, together with carrying out tests and functional trials in accordance with the requirements of the NC RfG. Comprehensive implementation of the works will take 2.5 years.
The Wysoka wind farm is one of the few wind farms in Poland that will use turbines with a unit capacity of 5.7 MW.
The average projected level of energy production will be around 180 GWh, covering the annual demand for around 90,000 households and avoiding around 63,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions from fossil fuels each year.
